Have flash cards completed and have the first 30 elements memorized.  Be ready to test on outside packet. Take the first thiry element quiz on eNLVM.  You will find it on the quiz labeled the first twenty quiz.  Just click on next activity and it will take you to the first thirty quiz.

      Outside packet test delayed until next class period.  Quiz on first 40 elements found on electronic quiz for first 20 elements.  Just click to next to get to 30 elements and 40 elements

Read  pages 98-107 and give a summary.  Do quiz on first 50 elements.

  1. 10-27A 10-28B  BRING UNIT THREE NOTES OR YOU WILL BE ASSIGNED WORDS TO WRITE.

Do quiz on 55 elements.  Do the first three activities online in Unit One of the following.  Go to unit seven in honors chemistry  on my web page and open Balancing Equations and Nomenclature.  The activities are the first three in Unit 1.  Some of you have already done parts of these activities.  The repetition will be good.  Bring hard copy of your completed three grades.  90% or better on each is required to get a grade.  B-1 Do problems 1,9,11,16,22 on homework handout 3-3 page 19 & 20.

  Prepare to take the 55 elements test.  Follow instructions on writing an isotope paper due 11-6 on Friday A day and 11-5 B day.  The instructions are found under unit 3 on my web page.

   Work on isotope paper for Thursday and Friday

  1. 11-5B and 11-6A

  Follow the instruction in unit three of honors chemistry about the Pennium Isotope lab.  Use the Excel spread sheet just below the instructions to calculate the average mass and turn in a hard copy as instructed with the three basic answers for the lab as asked on the instructions.

  1. 11-9B and 10A

   For those that could not get the spread sheet to work, click on the spread sheet and then save and save it to your desktop.  It will then be functional.  Be sure your numbers make sense or you will do it over with no additional credit.  So get help and do it right the first time, if you need it.

  1. 11-12A AND 11-17B

  Follow the instructions in unit three on writing a paper describing the Works Explosion.  The paper is due next time.

 Read pages 211-217 and 241-242 and give a summary.

  1. 11-20A

  Study for test next time.

  1. 12-3A and 12-4B

   Read pages 243-245 and give summary. DO PROB.15-22 HANDOUT 7-1 PG10 AND PROB 15-20 ON HANDOUT 7-2 PG 15.

         Read pages 264-266 and give summary.  Do metallic bond and hydrogen bond assignment.

        Complete the take home test for next time.
