THIS PAGE IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION Student Assistance The role of the Timpanogos Student Success Team.... school administrators and faculty assist students with issues related to behavior, attendance, academics and health. Tutoring may help students to succeed in challenging classes. The Counseling Center Library has a large number of helpful books available for students, parents, and faculty. Many topics are addressed including effective parenting, mental health issues, academic success, etc. Please feel welcome to browse through our bookshelves as you visit the Counseling Center . If you would like to borrow a book, the receptionist will assist you in checking one out for a period of 2 weeks. Students, parents and faculty are welcome to use our books. From time to time counselors will organize groups to offer support for students dealing with difficult issues such as divorce, death of a loved one, substance abuse, etc. If you would like to participate or suggest a possible group topic or activity, please contact your counselor. School and District Resources are available to help students who may need additional support and information of various kinds in order to be successful in the school setting. Students and parents occasionally need additional assistance in times of serious difficulty. Though they cannot make specific recommendations, Timpanogos counselors can provide information regarding Community Resources. Information is available regarding adoption, personal counseling agencies, disability services, educational services, food and clothing, government agencies, health and medical referrals, legal assistance, substance abuse services, volunteer connections, rape and abuse agencies, etc.
