Financing Your Education

Your education is one of the most important investments in yourself that you will make, and there are many ways to finance it. It will take time (maybe more than you expect or want) and hard work (ditto) but you CAN achieve your educational dreams.

Scholarships
Your best chance of getting a scholarship is by applying for one directly from the school you plan to attend, so make sure you have done that when you turn in your application for admission. But with a little more work you can also find and apply for lots of other Scholarships on our list and through web searches.

Other Financial Aid and Student Loans
Most "Financial Aid" is federally funded and is accessed by filling out a FAFSA application (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). This link to UtahMentor will give you good, understandable information about grants, loans, work study, etc. and provide lots of links. Or you might want to go straight to FAFSA on the Web.
