School Profile

We have approached the school improvement process not as a hoop to jump through to receive an accreditation stamp of approval and then go back to “normal”, but as a dynamic, ongoing mode of operation which will continue long after the visiting team has come and gone.  Decisions about what to include in the school profile have been made accordingly.  Because we intend to closely monitor this data and communicate it regularly, it needs to be manageable, not overwhelming.  The profile compiled for this report is the information that we have deemed critical to track at least annually in order to evaluate our continuous improvement efforts as a school.  We believe that a snapshot is useful, but an understanding of trends is essential; therefore, wherever possible we have used multi-year line graphs to represent our data.  In order to improve our data-driven decision making, each year these graphs will be updated and presented to our educational community for analysis.

Data for number of students receiving free and reduced lunch also impacts student fees for courses and activities in which students participate.  The increasing number of students receiving this aid reflects the changing socioeconomic level among our student population.  Numbers for 2003-2004 may be incorrect.
